Germicidal UV-C Pulsed Xenon Lamps, Disinfection Flash tube

Germicidal UV-C Lamps

Germicidal Pulsed Xenon Lamps are often used in disinfecting sensitive medical environments, high-traffic public areas and public transports.

The UV-C spectral range is known to be lethal to microorganisms such as germs, viruses, bacteria and spores.
Effective germicidal wavelengths, including 254nm, are known to break the molecular bonds of DNA and RNA.

UV Pulsed Xenon lamps (UV-PX) output radiation in the Deep-UV zone of 200nm to 320nm, as well as the rest of the visible spectrum, to the IR.
Made of UV-Grade fused silica Quartz, the UV transmission is optimized, as well as the lamp envelope robustness that supports high energy densities, compared to regular Borosilicate glass.

Operation regimes may include medium frequency pulsing in the range of 3-30Hz to act as a pseudo-continuous UV-source, in application such as air disinfection, or room sterilization.
Alternatively, the regime may be a single high energy pulse, for use as sterilization process on production lines, where the sample or product is conveyed under the UV Flash lamp.

Different samples and microorganisms will require specific doses of UV radiation to reach the lethal level.
